   How long have these new gadgets been up?
   The smilies are hidden to save space and clutter, I like it.
   The front page now recognises me and says hello.

   Really cool, not too much of an inconvenience for casual visitors, just 5 extra characters to type in.

   And don't think we haven't noticed all of the other enhancements too!
   
   I particularly like the hidden smilies below the comment box and the big preview thingie leaving no doubt that you have not added the comments yet.
