Much more advanced than the one I had when I was a young boy. The system is able to run many locomotives which may be addressed independently using the same controller and the same power transformer on the same track! Switching points allow each train to use either of the two loops of the track, one at a time of course unless one wants to set up the

Joe, great photos again, I would pay to know how you get them so clear and professional looking.

They don't look like model trains, well the one in the movie does but only because of the giant wicker basket!

Did you put the beautiful country side backgrounds into the pictures with Photoshop?

Anna, no Photoshop for the backgrounds, that's my back yard!

I did however adjust the lighting levels using Photoshop to enhance some of the dark areas.

    Thanks for the visit.

No wonder it's been such a long time since your last podcast Joe! :sc_10ton:

It's amazing to me how much diverse stuff you are into!

I was never lucky enough to have a train set when I was a wee lad, maybe it's time I too went back to my childhood?

    Here's some more as requested...
One hundred and twenty eight Ivatt Class locomotives were built between 1946 and 1952. They saw service with the London, Midland and Scottish Railway. The introduction of diesel resulted in the class being withdrawn between 1961 and 1967, a year before the end of steam power on British Railways. Seven have survived to work as displays on heritage railways.

Look at the detail on this model! The coupling side rods and piston rods on the drive wheels are a joy to watch at low speed. They become a blur of activity at high speed.
